Rock’n‘Rollosaur Dark T-Shirt
From the designer:
A strat styled guitar holding stegosaurus skeleton with the word rock’n‘roll. Fossilized & cool, this unique dinosaur t-shirt design makes a great paleontology rock music gift!
The cafepress marketplace has been pretty messy for the last few days, I hope they get there act together quickly because it’s a pain to wade through pages of tag irreverent designs to find a fun one…
That said this is a fun albeit enigmatic design. Tired of old dinosaur aged rock stars? A spoof on those retarded creationist theories that have our ancestors jamming with the dinosaurs? A just for the heck of it design?
Your guess is as good as mine! In any case it’s cool how the whole design kind of looks like a skull…

The US presidential elections are raging away and designers everywhere are competing for the spotlight so I’ll be posting a few of my favorites even though they aren’t necessarily music related.
No reason to be a partisan either, so we’ll be seeing both sides of the deal. Ladies first of course.
Two cool “Barracuda, Pitbull” Palin t-shirts then.
First an anti-Palin shirt, called Barracuda BBQ from a shop with the same name. Looking strangely like the Barack Obama campaign logo this lipsticked barracuda is pierced by arrows and ready for the barbecue. With a very artistic looking barracuda, this design is pretty neat!
From Pitbull Palin .org this funny Pitbull Palin VP 08 pro-Palin design is all black & white except for the lipstick that really stands out. Above a ribbon with (you guessed it) the words: VP Pitbull Palin 08 and looking very much like Palin herself, this is one cool dog.

Mariachi Skeletons Women’s Dark T-Shirt
From the designer:
A unique Día De Los Muertos (day of the dead) t-shirt design! These three atmosphere warming skeleton Mariachi play guitar, violin and trumpet. Makes a fun Halloween gift design too.
The fact that my last post mentioned another Día De Los Muertos t-shirt design made me what to share one I just finished. I’d been wanting to do a day of the dead design and having recently made a violin playing skeleton and a trumpeter skeleton, and since it’s already mid-September, it was now or later…
It’s always kind of hard to fit the guitarist in since “he” is much wider because of the instrument, and because of that the trumpet player had to be left handed. So hopefully there are left handed trumpet players who will appreciate this design.

Bone Man White T-Shirt
I’ve stumbled on this Bone Man design enough time to know that it always catches my attention. Simple, cool and to the point, what more could you need!
It’s from New Orleans Fig Street Studio which is a fun shop to browse in, but a frustrating one if your looking for say, a Bone Man design. Just check out the funny t-shirt section for instance, most of the design have their thumbnail but you have an occasional sub-section, like the DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS (Day of the dead) one that you could easily pass over if you were in a hurry.
So don’t visit this shop while waiting for a taxi…. ;-)

Molly Bow Dot -p Women’s Light T-Shirt
From the designer:
Girl’s skull and crossbones pirate emblem with polka-dot bow, available in pink, blue or yellow, shirts and gifts.
Vice Voices brags being the first to have come up with the bowed skull idea and I can truly believe it just by looking at a few of their awesome collection of t-shirt designs!
Good Wench Wendy (the name of the section containing Molly Bow Dot and four variations on the same design) is a cool skull and crossbones for girls. Not too cute, with enough of the wench to forget the Wendy. Similarly, the pinkish color used is not quite pink enough for the “good” part of the name either, and rightly so, a pinker pink would of pulled too much of the wench out of Molly too.
And then where would you be? Somewhere closer to Disneyland with pirate credentials of zero. So if you really want the punk, rock ‘n’ roll skull with the right balance of chic for her, don’t go anywhere else, this is the one!

Skeleton Drums Black T-Shirt
With its tribal styled skeletons pounding on drums, this design contains a lot of primitive energies. I really like it!
Lots of stuff going on in the background, a third drummer in red adds a lot of movement and the solid red bug sets the scene. What to add besides the white outlined woman’s head who’s hairdo definitively places her outside of the tribe. A blond “Jane” explores the darkest jungle and all her male team mates have been eliminated one by one. You know, one fell into a spiked hole, the other got a spear through his neck, the third…
My only complaint would be that Art-TShirts is set up in a way that make browsing a pain, you end up with way too many open taps among other things. Also, it wouldn’t of been that hard to make the Skeleton Drums design suitable for white and light colored tees, they propose a big ugly black square, really too bad. If I hadn’t like the design so much I would of passed it by for that….

Pregnant and Punk Maternity Dark T-Shirt
Yes it happens!
A green mohawk sporting skull and crossbones above the words: Pregnant and Punk!

A unique gift for your punk girlfriend mommy to be!

Skeleton Serpent Player Dark T-Shirt
In France, serpents used to be widely used to accompany choir music. From what I’ve understood one reason for this is that most other instruments were simply not allowed to play in churches.
From the Designer (which just happens to be yours truly ;-)
Our unique serpent playing skeleton t-shirt & gift design will thrill serpent players and wind instrument musicians. Share your passion for this distinctive old musical instrument!

Shofu White T-Shirt
This music score design is cool although I have to admit my ignorance as to what Shofu could possibly mean. The name of the song? In any case the squiggly “notes”, which can perhaps be viewed as clusters, seem to be somewhere between a contemporary calligraphic delirium and traces left by squashed mosquitoes and other fine legged insects; and are perfect for a night out at the opera and most other highbrow musical venues!
If you like contemporary composers like Cage, Feldman or Scelci, this t-shirt could very well be for you.

Dancing Skeletons Dark T-Shirt
From the Designer
“If you can’t get rid of the skeleton in your closet, you’d best teach it to dance.” – Funny and humorous quote and saying with an attitude. Something George Bernard Shaw once said.
George Bernard Shaw obviously knew what he was talking about and this is very good advice indeed!
